The Meta-Prompt (Bonus)

Create your own ManusMethod-grade prompts

The Meta-Prompt

This is the prompt that writes prompts. Use it when you have a task that doesn't fit the templates above.

The Prompt

I need to create a ManusMethod-style prompt for [TASK DESCRIPTION].

Help me build it by asking me clarifying questions, then write the complete prompt following this structure:

1. **Context Block**
   - Who am I?
   - What's the situation?
   - Why does this matter?

2. **Task Block**
   - What specific deliverable do I need?
   - What format should it be in?

3. **Constraints Block**
   - What are the requirements?
   - What should be included/excluded?
   - What's the scope?

4. **Definition of Done Block**
   - What does success look like?
   - How will I know it's finished?

5. **Execute Signal**
   - Clear instruction to produce the work, not suggestions

Ask me 3-5 questions to fill in the gaps, then write the complete prompt I can use.

How It Works

You tell M what you're trying to accomplish. M asks you the right questions. Then M writes a prompt you can use immediately — or save for future use.

Example Exchange

You: "I need to create a ManusMethod-style prompt for creating a competitive analysis."

M asks:

  • What industry/market is this for?
  • Who are the specific competitors you want analyzed?
  • What decisions will this analysis inform?
  • Who is the audience for this analysis?
  • What format do you need (doc, slides, spreadsheet)?
  • You answer, M produces:

Create a competitive analysis for [your answers filled in]...
    [Complete, ready-to-use prompt]

    Why This Matters

The Starter Kit gives you 5 prompts. The Meta-Prompt gives you infinite prompts.

Once you understand the structure, you can create ManusMethod-grade prompts for any task. You're not dependent on templates. You own the method.
